Bio

Mr. Jackson was born in Montgomery, AL but grew up in Skipperville, AL where he still lives.  He is married to his wife, Paula and they have one daughter, Margaret.  Mr. Jackson earned a baseball scholarship to Wallace Community College while playing American Legion summer baseball for Post 12.  He lettered in baseball while attending Wallace CC.  He has been involved in sports for most of his life.  After his playing days were over he coached summer teams on which his daughter played.  He has served as Girls Head softball coach here at Daleville HS as well as Girls Head Softball Coach at G. W. Long HS.  He was selected as the Dothan Eagle Super 12 "Coach of the Year" in 2004 while serving as the head coach at DHS.  He enjoys the outdoors hunting, fishing, working in the flower beds, etc.  His favorite sports are college football and fast pitch softball.  He is an Auburn fan and enjoys watching Auburn play in person and from his favorite blue leather chair.

While Mr. Jackson attended Auburn he was a member of the Collegiate FFA and served as the Treasurer. He lived on and managed the Auburn City Schools farm during his time in Auburn. He was also employed by the poultry department at Auburn University.

Mr. Jackson and his family are members of and attend Ozark Baptist Church, Ozark, AL. He sings in the Adult Choir.
