Subjects Taught
AP English 12, English 10, English 12, Honors English 10

I graduated summa cum laude from Troy University with a Bachelor of Science in English in 2013.

I graduated from Troy University with a Master's degree in Post-Secondary Education: Teaching English to Students of Other Languages in 2015.

I am the tenth and twelfth grades English teacher. I have taught at Troy University in the ESL (English as a Second Language) Department, and I have taught at Troy University Dothan in the English Department.

Formerly, I was an Admissions Counselor for Troy University Dothan. My job was to assist anyone, from traditional college-aged-students to adults, in fulfilling their dreams of attending college.

I am a native of Taylor, Alabama, a small town directly outside of Dothan. I graduated from Rehobeth High School and immediately attended Troy University for my bachelor's and master's degres.

At Troy University, I was involved in the Sound of the South for four years, I was in a social organization, and I was the Editor-in-Chief of the Rubicon, a creative-writing publication. I fully believe you get out of organizations and education what you put in; I met my life-long friends and mentors while involved at Troy Univeristy, and I know the value of these relationships.

I also met my husband, Stephen, in the band at Troy University. We were married in March of 2016. We have two cats and live in Dothan.

Go Trojans! Go Warhawks!
